1. Overview
Wordly is a flashcard study and review app. We minimize data collection and prefer processing study data locally on your device.
By using Wordly, you understand the data practices described in this policy.
2. Data We Handle
Your card content, review history, exam results, study statistics, and app settings are stored on your device by default.
Wordly does not sell user data, create advertising profiles, or upload your card content to developer-operated servers.
3. iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud Sync, Wordly uses Apple CloudKit to store supported sync data in your private iCloud database.
iCloud Sync is optional. When disabled, the current device stops using CloudKit for ongoing sync; existing iCloud data remains managed by Apple's iCloud services.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
Wordly Pro offers monthly, quarterly, and annual subscriptions. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the App Store.
Wordly uses RevenueCat to verify subscription status. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.
5. Local Notifications
If you enable review reminders, Wordly schedules local notifications on your device to remind you to review.
Notification permissions and delivery are managed by iOS. You can disable notification access in system settings.
6. Third-Party Services
Wordly may use Apple and RevenueCat services for iCloud Sync, subscription validation, and app distribution.
Those services process data under their own privacy policies.
7. Children's Privacy
Wordly is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
